UFC is currently looking for a short-notice replacement opponent to fight Alan Jouban at their upcoming UFC Fight Night 90 event.
UFC Welterweight contender Nordine Taleb was scheduled to fight Jouban at the event scheduled for the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Taleb reportedly suffered a groin injury, which forced him to withdraw from the fight. Taleb last fought at UFC 196 back in March, knocking out highly-regarded Brazilian welterweight contender Erick Silva in the second round.
Headlined by Rafael dos Anjos vs. Eddie Alvarez for the UFC Lightweight Championship, UFC Fight Night 90 goes down during UFC’s International Fight Week on July 7, 2016.
