Weigh-ins for Saturday night’s Bellator 158 event from London went down earlier today and the card is now set.
Action begins in the U.S. on Spike at 9 p.m. ET.
The official weigh-ins for “Bellator 158: London” took place today in front of a packed house at the Café de Paris in Leicester Square and things got a bit testy when headliners Paul Daley (38-13-2) and Douglas Lima (26-6) faced off in front of boxing’s former undisputed heavyweight kingpin Lennox Lewis.
All competitors are now ready for action tomorrow at The O2, with the event airing on SPIKE UK from 9 – 10 p.m. BST and Channel 5 from 10 p.m. – midnight BST. Meanwhile in America, the card will air free on SPIKE at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The “Bellator 158: London” preliminary card begins at 5:30 pm BST and will stream live via Bellator.com and The Bellator Mobile App beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.
In addition to the fireworks that Daley and Lima are sure to provide, fans tuning in and attending “Bellator 158: London” will have the pleasure of watching the always-entertaining Michael “Venom” Page (10-0), who aims to continue his raging pace and remain unbeaten when he challenges himself against MMA veteran “Cyborg” Santos (21-17), as well as Matt Mitrione (10-5), who returns after his emphatic win just last month to face “Britain’s Strongest Man” winner Oli Thompson (17-8) in a heavyweight beater.
Rounding out the main card, Francis Carmont (24-11) meets Lukasz Klinger (7-2) on short notice, and 19-year-old Irish sensation James Gallagher (3-0) takes on Mike Cutting (6-5).
