Yair Rodriguez Expecting A “Scrap” With Alex Caceres This Saturday Night

Former Ultimate Fighter winner Yair Rodriguez knows he is in for an all-out battle with Alex Caceres this Saturday night at UFC Fight Night 92. During a recent appearance on “UFC Tonight,” Rodriguez described the kind of fight he’s expecting.

“It’s going to be a scrap out there. He’s a lefty,” Rodriguez said. “He throws a lot of crazy kicks and stuff, just like me. The first guy who goes is going to be the guy who wins out there.”

The 23-year-old is viewed as a future title contender and has done nothing but improved his stock with wins over Andre Fili, Dan Hooker and Charles Rosa. “El Pantera” claimed his TUF title with a 2014 decision over Leonardo Morales.

“I need to prove every fight that I’m the best one out there,” he said. “I’m representing my country, my culture and all of Latin America. I want to be the guy to grow the Mexican market.”
