Justin Scoggins Ready To Make Splash At UFC Fight Night 100

Justin Scoggins has picked up wins in four of his six UFC fights.

Scoggins will be fighting for the first time inside the Octagon at bantamweight this Saturday, as he takes on Pedro Munhoz.

But the 11-2 Scoggins doesn’t believe the change in weight classes will result in anything less than a spectacular performance.

“My plan (is) to stick people out on an island and pick my shots and do what I want to do, and not give him an opportunity to get the ball onto their side of the court,” Scoggins told MMAjunkie.

In fact, he feels not having to try and cut to 125 pounds might actually give him more ammunition to play with.

“The cut to 125 has always been kind of hard on me,” Scoggins said. “Over the years, it’s gotten harder and harder. I don’t know if it’s just naturally growing and getting bigger, but I just feel like if I compete healthier and better, I’ll put on better shows at a healthier, more comfortable weight.”
