Exclusive Interview With Goiti Yamauchi

Goiti Yamauchi (21-3) is a name people in the sport of MMA are going to have to get acquainted with. The 9-time Bellator veteran has won 5 of his last 6, with 4 of those wins coming by submission. His last lost coming via Unanimous Decision at the hands of Bubba Jenkins in March of 2016.

The 24 year old Yamauchi will get the toughest test of his career on September 23rd when he fights the undefeated Adam Piccolotti (9-0). A fight that is likely to have #1 contender implication for the future and determine which top prospect moves up the ladder.

I spoke to Goiti leading up to the fight about his opponent, where he thinks he stands right now in the division, and if he thinks he gets the respect he deserves throughout the organization.
