Bellator MMA has locked up Goiti Yamauchi for the foreseeable future, signing the 24-year-old to a long-term contract extension.
Yamauchi is 8-2 over 10 career Bellator fights since 2013, winning his last three by finish. He is 22-3 overall in his career and now competes in the lightweight division after a 5-2 run at featherweight.
The 24-year-old scored a submission win over Ryan Couture in 2016, following it up with a triangle-choke victory over Valeriu Mircea to close out the year. So far in 2017, Yamauchi has fought just once, choking out Adam Piccolotti and dealing him his first career loss.
