Diaz hasn’t competed since 2016 when he suffered a Majority Decision loss to Conor McGregor in their rematch at UFC 202. He was expected to face Dustin Poirier at UFC 230 in November, however, that fight fell through after an injury to “The Diamond”. It remains to be seen when he’ll make his return to fighting action.
Gracie comes into the UFC with an undefeated record of 4-0, with his last three wins coming under the RIZIN banner. He defeated the likes of Erson Yamamoto, Hideo Tokoro, and Tatsuya Kawajiri. All of those victories came by way of submission. He’ll be facing UFC veteran Alex Caceres, who has a record of 14-11. Caceres has dropped three of his last five bouts.
His most recent fight resulted in a split decision win over Martin Bravo in Las Vegas this past July.
