Cody Garbrandt vs. Rob Font was just advertised – violence.
Garbrandt got rocked in the first round, but recovered and tossed him to the ground before landing a head kick. Garbrandt did get a takedown in the second round, but Font got back to his feet and was landing jabs.
The second round was a good one for Font. Garbrandt did go for a takedown, but was stuffed in round three. Font was doing a good job of walking him down and avoiding shots. Garbrandt didn’t have an answer on the feet and Font walked away with the decision win.
