UFC women’s flyweight prospect Andrea Lee is set to make her return to the Octagon. MMA Junkie reports that Lee will be taking on Montana De La Rosa at UFC on ESPN+ 11 from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina on June 22.
Lee has been perfect in her two fights under the UFC banner, defeating both Veronica Macedo and Ashlee Evans-Smith via unanimous decision. She is currently on a six-fight win streak, not having lost since being submitted back in 2016. Now, she looks to stay perfect in the UFC against De La Rosa this summer.
De La Rosa, a 24-year-old submission specialist, is always fun to watch inside the cage. She is also perfect in her UFC tenure, with three-straight submission victories. De La Rosa’s last defeats were to fellow UFC contenders Cynthia Calvillo and Mackenzie Dern, prior to arriving in the UFC. She also has an amateur defeat to former 125-pound champion Nicco Montano.
A win over Lee would certainly warrant a huge step up in competition next. Check out the updated UFC on ESPN+ 11 card below:
