Joe Pyfer wanted to rebound in a big way after his first loss in the Octagon, and he did just that with a big finish of Marc-André Barriault to wrap up the UFC 303 prelims.
Just over a minute into the fight, Pyfer landed a hook on Barriault that seemed to rock him. Pyfer followed that up with a flurry near the fence before landing a right hand that caused Barriault to faceplant, giving him the knockout victory.

Pyfer earned a UFC contract after his 2022 appearance on Dana White's Contender Series. He scored finishes of Alen Amedovski, Gerald Meerschaert and Abdul Razak Alhassan before a loss to Jack Hermansson in February.
Barriault has now dropped back-to-back fights, after losing a split decision to Chris Curtis at UFC 297.
