We are now just one day shy of UFC 329, the UFC card for International Fight Week 2026, which will see the long-awaited return of Conor McGregor, as he rematches with Max Holloway. Get the latest from all of today’s weigh-ins in Las Vegas here with MMANews!
This is a rematch 13 years in the making for McGregor and Holloway. The two met on the first UFC on Fox Sports 1 card in Boston back in August 2013. McGregor won the featherweight contest by unanimous decision. This also marks McGregor’s fourth bout at welterweight, while this is Holloway’s 170-pound debut.
This fight marks McGregor’s first bout in five years. The Irish-born former featherweight and lightweight champ has not fought since getting injured and losing to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. McGregor is 1-3 in his last four fights, which stretch back to his initial Octagon slowdown and getting submitted by Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229.
Holloway started his massive win streak following the McGregor fight, going on to capture the featherweight title in that time span. Since 2019, however, Holloway is 7-6 in the Octagon, going on to drop the featherweight title and winning and losing the BMF belt. This fight marks Holloway’s first fight since dropping the BMF title to Charles Oliveira at UFC 326 earlier this year.
The co-main event will be a lightweight battle between Benoit Saint Denis and Paddy Pimblett.
Saint Denis is 9-3 in the UFC and comes in with a four-fight win streak, with all four of those wins coming via a finish. This is Saint Denis’ first fight since finishing Dan Hooker at UFC 325 in January.
This marks Pimblett’s first fight since coming up short against current lightweight champ Justin Gaethje in their interim title fight that headlined UFC 324. The former Cage Warriors featherweight champion had won nine straight previously, including his first seven UFC fights.
