You Su-young Finds Last-Minute Kimura After Grappling Clinic

So much a grappler that his nickname is “You-Jitsu,” You Su-young opened up the action at UFC Edmonton with a grappling showcase against the previously unbeaten Cody Chovancek.

From the opening horn, Su-young got Chovancek to the cage before bringing him to the mat, outworking him with positioning and ground-and-pound. Things got bleaker in round two, when Su-young found mount throughout the round, landing even stronger shots.

The pace continued into the third round. Then, with less than a minute remaining, Su-young locked up a kimura and scored the submission win.

Su-young bounces back from a loss to Elijah Smith in March. The Road to UFC champion has now won six of his last seven fights.
