With Bellator 149 going down tonight, it has been made clear that Scott Coker and his vision for the company is to make fights that fans want and have been fantasizing for years. Here is a brief breakdown of the four fighters participating in tonight’s co and main event.

Kimbo Slice: He comes into tonight’s fight with a 5-2 record. His last bout was against Ken Shamrock back in Bellator 138. He won the bout in the first round due to knockout. Before that, his last fight was five years ago against Matt Mitrione where he lost due to TKO in the second round at UFC 113.

Dhafir Harris “Dada 5000”: A well-known street fighter by his credentials but has a 2-0 MMA record with his last fight in 2011. He weighed in at 265 pounds yesterday at weigh ins. Dada 5000 and Kimbo Slice are a matchup street fight fans have wanted for a long time.

Ken Shamrock: A decorated mixed martial artist with a 28-16-2 record. He lost his last fight against Kimbo Slice in the first round due to TKO at Bellator 138. He is an inductee of the UFC Hall of Fame and will come into tonight’s fight at the age of 52.

Royce Gracie: Another decorated mixed martial artist who has decided to return to the cage after a nine-year hiatus. He is also an inductee of the UFC Hall of Fame and one of the most well known martial artists around the world having popularized Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu by winning the UFC 1 tournament. He comes into tonight’s fight with a 14-2-3 record with his last win against Kazushi Sakuraba.
