MMAJunkie.com is reporting that Tom Atencio has stated that Affliction could return on November 8th, 2008 but a location has yet me be determined.
“When? The beginning of November,” Atencio told MMAJunkie.com “Where? We haven't finalized that yet. We're still looking at a couple different locations.”
Following what appears to be a succuessful first show that seen Fedor Emelianenko defeat Tim Sylvia for the World Alliance Mixed Martial Arts Heavyweight Championship (WAMMA), numbers are showing that at first glance the show could be a financial success. Most first shows do not tend to go so well but most first shows also don't have billionaire Donald Trump in their corner.
In a post-fight interview with MMANews.com, Sylvia stated that he had heard that the next Affliction show would be in November but he did not have many details due to just finding the information out himself.
