Alexander Receives License In Nevada, Fighting Dec. 5th

From MMAJunkie.com:

UFC light heavyweight slugger Houston Alexander (9-4 MMA, 2-3 UFC) today received a license to fight from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, and “The Assassin” confirmed he will be fighting on Dec. 5 in Las Vegas.

That's the date the UFC has reserved for The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale and would seem to lend further credence to recent reports that Alexander will face Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson (3-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) at the Spike TV-broadcast event.

At 37 years old, Alexander was required by the commission to speak to the board prior to the approval of his request, and NSAC executive director Keith Kizer today confirmed to MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that the license was granted.
