Bellator 175 Featuring ‘Rampage’ vs. ‘King Mo’ to be Held in Chicago Area

Quinton Jackson finally got his wish.

When a rematch between “Rampage” Jackson and Muhammed Lawal was announced during the Bellator 170 broadcast, a location and venue were unknown. This was an annoyance for Jackson, who said this could be his last fight and wanted his family to know the details so they could plan ahead.

The Chicago Tribune reported that Bellator 175 will take place inside the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. The promotion later made it official. This event is going to be held on March 31 and will air live on Spike at 9 p.m. ET.

Jackson is currently enjoying his longest winning streak since his tear from Oct. 2005 through Sept. 2007. In that run, “Rampage” was on a six-fight winning streak that included an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) title victory and a successful defense. His current streak stands at five.

Meanwhile, “King Mo” is coming off a TKO loss to Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic. After falling short to Jackson in their first encounter, Lawal went on a seven-fight tear. His run was stopped by current Bellator light heavyweight title holder Phil Davis. Before succumbing to “Cro Cop’s” fists, Lawal defeated Satoshi Ishii by unanimous decision.

No other match-ups have been announced for Bellator 175.
