Bellator 200 started off in a way that’ll make anyone wince.
The preliminary portion of the card opened with a clash between Mike Ekundayo and Tom Mearns. In the second round, Ekundayo scored a takedown that saw Mearns land awkwardly. Mearns suffered a nasty arm injury and he tapped after realizing what went wrong.

Ekundayo improves his professional mixed martial arts record to 6-0. He’s earned four victories via knockout or TKO and one submission. As for Mearns, he now falls to 5-2 and is likely to be out of action for a lengthy period of time. Mearns has dropped his last two bouts after going undefeated in his first five outings.
