Tonight (Sat. October 13, 2018) Bellator MMA returns to the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York for Bellator 208. The mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion has a great card in store for fight fans. In the main event of the evening, we’ll find out who will face Ryan Bader in the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix Finals.
MMA heavyweight legend Fedor Emelianenko will face former UFC middleweight and light heavyweight title challenger Chael Sonnen. The winner fill face Bader next year for the vacant Bellator heavyweight title. Also on the card, lightweight veteran Benson Henderson returns to the cage to take on Saad Awad.

Round 1:
Fedor hits Sonnen with a big shot that drops him. Sonnen gets to his feet but is dropped again. Fedor wins a clinch war and gets top position on a takedown. Fedor gets to his feet and allows Sonnen to stand. Sonnen gets a takedown but Fedor again is able to position himself at the top in side control. Fedor again gets to his feet and wants to stand.
Sonnen gets the takedown now and is in half guard. Fedor keeps Sonnen close and prevents him from getting off much offense. Sonnen gets full mount but Fedor sweeps into full guard top position. Fedor gets to his feet and allows Sonnen to stand. Sonnen again falls after eating a shot and Fedor swarms on him for the ground-and-pound. Sonnen isn’t fighting back, the ref calls it off.
