Guida confirmed the clash with Jesse Holland from UFCmania.com this afternoon, saying that the bout agreements for the main event were inked last night.
“I'm going to train for this fight like no other because I know over a win over a competitor like Roger in front of a national audience puts me near the top of the division,” said Guida. “Roger is a friend, but when that bell rings it's going to be all business.”
And even though Guida has had some recent trouble stopping opponents, “The Carpenter” says that trend will end against “El Matador.”
“I'm going to finish Roger,” said Guida. “It's already in my mind that I'm going to make a statement with this fight.”
