CSAC Suspends, Fines Royce Gracie For Failed Drug Test

GRACIE FORGOES CSAC APPEAL, SUSPENSION STANDS

Royce Gracie has failed to submit a written appeal contesting steroid use allegations and will serve a one-year suspension and pay a $2,500 fine, said the California State Athletic Commission today. The UFC Hall of Famer was allotted a 30-day period to reply in writing. Gracie’s suspension runs through May 30, 2008.
