Jeff Garlin Says Room On Network TV; Maybe for UFC
Sid Needelman reporting…
Jeff Garlin of HBO's “Curb Your Enthusiasm” said at a recent screening of his new movie, “Someone To Eat Cheese With,” that if the writer's strike does not end by next week, the networks will not have enough for next season's scripted shows. For those who do not remember, UFC and MMA is unscripted. If by next week there is no movement on the strike, expect the UFC or other MMA on Network TV soon enough.
Jeff also mentioned, now more than before, you can expect a new season of his hit show “Curb” as Larry David's divorce has left him with more free time to write for the show than expected.
Also, if you think MMA on HBO is a thought of the past, major talks are under way with a non-UFC organization.
Stay with MMANews in the future for more details as they are confirmed.
