By now everyone has heard the news. Kelvin Gastelum vs. Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone has been scrapped from the scheduled lineup for tomorrow night’s UFC 205 event in New York City following Gastelum’s inability to make the required welterweight limit during the official weigh-ins on Friday morning.
In addition to the statement released by the UFC this afternoon, Gastelum himself posted the following comments on his official Twitter page addressing the fact that he has been pulled from the fight with Cerrone tomorrow night.
I will not be fighting @Cowboycerrone 2morrow on account that I couldn't make the wght limit. I apologize 2 cowboy ure a legend. God bless.
