Video: Hunt After Loss To Lesnar: “I Don’t Know How He Can Make 265 Pounds”

Coming out of the historic UFC 200 event this past Saturday night, one of the most-talked about fights on the card, as expected, was the return of WWE Superstar and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, as he returned from more than five years away from the sport to test himself against dangerous striker, top-ten ranked UFC heavyweight contender Mark Hunt.

Lesnar, who dominated Hunt en route to a unanimous decision in the co-main event of the evening, will be heading back to WWE now, as he is scheduled to face Randy Orton at the company’s upcoming SummerSlam pay-per-view event on August 21st.

Hunt, meanwhile, is left scratching his head and is questioning how “The Beast Incarnate,” who was given a special USADA exemption for coming out of retirement to fight, but was aggressively tested during the buildup to the fight and seemed to be in unbelievable shape at the weigh-ins, was able to make the heavyweight limit of 265 pounds.

In speaking with the folks at Submission Radio after the fight on Saturday night, “The Super Samoan” spoke about his performance against Lesnar and his questions about Lesnar’s weight.

“No, there were no injuries, I just got caught,” said Hunt when asked if there was any particular reason why he looked the way he did in losing to Lesnar. “I couldn’t get out of first gear. He was the bigger man and he caught me and props to him. I just couldn’t I couldn’t get him, man.”

As Hunt continued, he switched focus on Lesnar’s actual size and how he managed to make the heavyweight limit of 265 pounds.

“He is just such a big guy. I just got caught, couldn’t get out of first gear, he’s such a big guy, thought I’d be able to stop his takedowns. But he is quite strong, I don’t know how he can make 265 pounds — it’s all I can say.”
