For whatever this is worth, which is probably not all that much, someone continues to post occasionally on the official Twitter account of former UFC and Bellator fighter Jon “War Machine” Koppenhaver.
Just one day prior to the news surfaced that War Machine attempted to commit suicide in jail, the following poem was posted on Koppenhaver’s official Twitter account.
Hated on
The alpha is
For marching to a beat
Only his.
People think
But fear to say
That they agree
With his way
It’s the duty
Of the sheep
To blindly follow
Without a peep
Frauds they are
This they know
But they mask their shape
And call him foe
Emasculation,
What a cost.
Becoming civilized
Has left men lost.
Make of that what you will.
In addition to the above poem, the following quote from Friedrich Nietzsche was also tweeted out on War Machine’s Twitter account the same day. The next day, after the news surfaced that the former Ultimate Fighter cast member attempted to commit suicide, his brother posted this blog about his brothers suicide attempt.
"Mistrust all in whom the impulse to punish is powerful. They are people of a low sort and stock" Nietzsche
