Jason “MayheM” Miller vs. Frank Trigg II Likely For 2/15

It was mentioned by HDNet Fights' matchmaker and former UFC and PRIDE veteran Guy Mezger, that due to the fact the both Jason “MayheM” Miller and Frank Trigg won their respective fights during the “Reckless Abandon” show in Dallas, Texas this past Saturday night, the possibility of a rematch between the two on a future HDNet Fights' card is likely.

The two Middleweight combatants first met back in December of 2006 for the ICON Sport promotion in Hawaii, where the underdog Frank Trigg surprised everyone – knocking out “MayheM” with soccer kicks late in the second round.

Since the fight, “MayheM” has gone undefeated, racking up wins over Hector Urbina in ICON Sport, Hiromitsu Miura in the WEC and of course his HDNet Fights' victory over Tim Kennedy this past Saturday night. However, in the Kennedy and Miura fight, “MayheM” didn't look himself, winning hard-fought decisions in both bouts.

After knocking out “MayheM,” Trigg has gone 2-1 with victories over PRIDE Welterweight Grand Prix champion Kazuo Misaki by decision, a knockout loss to Robbie Lawler in the ICON Sport promotion and of course his quick submission victory over Edwin Dewees at HDNet Fights on Saturday.

The two fighters, both of which have signed multiple-fight contracts with the HDNet Fights promotion, will likely rematch at the organization's February 15th event – according to matchmaker Guy Mezger. We'll see!
