On the heels of a “make or break” victory at July 21’s Hardcore Championship Fighting event at the River Cree Resort and Casino in Edmonton, Alberta, Joe “Diesel” Riggs says he will face Jason “Mayhem” Miller next in a World Extreme Cagefighting event this fall.
“I'm fighting Mayhem at the WEC in October,” said Riggs. According to Riggs, the bout will determine a contender for the WEC middleweight title; the promotion will crown a fresh champion Sunday with a showdown between undefeated Brazilian Top Team rep Paulo Filho (13-0) and resilient Canadian Joe Doerksen (39-9), broadcasted live the on VERSUS Network.
