Aaron Simpson is now looking for a new opponent to welcome him to the UFC's welterweight division because Jon Fitch has injured his knee and will be unable to greet him inside the cage.

Fitch and Simpson were set to fight at UFC on FX 4 on July 11th in San Jose, CA but according to Dave Meltzer a knee injury will keep the long time top ranked welterweight out of the fight.

Simpson made the decision to dropped to the 170lbs class after a February loss to Ronny Markes at UFC on FUEL 1. There has been no word on who will replace Fitch.
