MMAJunkie.com is reporting that sources close to the site have confirmed that Robbie Lawler will most likely defend his EliteXC Middleweight Championship against Joey Villasenor on November 8th.
Villasenor was scheduled to fight on September 20th in his home town but EliteXC cancelled the show that was scheduled to focus primarilly on their big card on October 4th when they are back on CBS.
Lawler most recently defended his title agaisnt Scott Smith in July, winning by TKO and is now riding a five fight win streak.
Lawler and Villasenor have fought once before at Pride 32 in October 2006. Lawler won that fight with a flying knee knockout in the first round needing only 22 seconds to finish the bout.
