Matyushenko's comments set the stage for the upcoming UFC showdown
TONIGHT, on HDNet Friday, July 16 at 9:00 p.m. ET
WHAT: On tonight's “Inside MMA” Vladimir Matyushenko responds to Jon Jones' criticism, that Matyushenko “presents a lot of possibilities for me to beat him. He's not a great striker, he's not great ground.”
The veteran Matyushenko will face Jones, the UFC's rising star in the upcoming UFC event in San Diego on August 1.
Also on the broadcast, the legendary Euclides Pereia tells Ron Kruck that even after beating Carlson Gracie, the “Godfather” of Brazilian fighters, he only received some recognition is certain parts of Brazil – in others, the victory was not even talked about.
