MMANews.com Radio: The Fight Card (Guest: Jake Shields, More)

Adam from MMANews.com's “The Fight Card” radio show sent along the following:

MMANews.com's newest radio show The Fight Card is now online with the November 12th episode, featuring EliteXC fighter and top Welterweight – Jake Shields!

The boys break down this week's Ultimate Fighter. They discuss War Machine's toughness, the fight and who will advance to the Final Four.

They also go through this past weekend's EliteXC event. Did Bo Cantrell take a dive? Who should Kimbo fight next? Why did Mike Pyle not sign on for a title fight? How far can Jake Shields go? The guys also go through the main event and discuss the 160 lb. division.

Jake Shields comes on the show and discusses the fight. He says the knee didn't get him too bad, and he didn't really get hurt during the fight.

“Pyle wasn't happy with EliteXC. It pissed me off. He cost me a title and that's something I wanted.” Jake says he would bump up to 185 lbs. if he had no one left to fight at 170 lbs. in EliteXC. He resigned with Elite because they treat him so well.

“I feel like I could beat anyone.”

Two Gold Medal winners from the 1988 Olympics in the women's Tae Kwon Do division join the show. They discuss their Olympic experience and what it was like to win a gold medal.

The guys then go through UFC 78 and make their pics. How good can this card be?
