The UFC 63 “Hughes vs. Penn” event on September 23rd from the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim, California had an official attendance of 12,604 with 9,343 paid for a live gate of $1,582,370. That's the smallest gate of the year, but considered the other events this year that's not necessarily a terrible thing.

Note – these figures do not include the PPV percentages in the case of the main event fighters, nor does it include the $5,000 bonus for best fight, best knockout and best submission.
