MTS TV adds Fight Network to its lineup
Sports and game enthusiasts win with new channels and free previews
WINNIPEG, Aug. 16 /CNW/ – MTS TV subscribers who love sports and gaming
now have more choices than ever. MTS Allstream Inc. (“MTS Allstream”) is
adding five exciting channels to MTS TV's sports-themed and basic packages.
The Fight Network, GOLTV, WFN – World Fishing Network and The Fan 590 radio
have been added to existing sports theme groups, while CGTV Canada – Casino
and Gaming Television is now available with the basic package.
“We are pleased to offer five new channels on MTS TV that will keep our
customers in tune with their favourite sports and hobbies,” said Kelvin

The Fight Network (channel 204), which is included in the Sports
Enthusiasts theme group, delivers the best boxing, wrestling and mixed martial
arts programming available.
GOLTV (channel 196), which is part of the Sports Champions theme group,
is Canada's only 24-hour channel dedicated to the world's best soccer, showing
1,500 matches a year, including live coverage of the world's top leagues.
WFN – World Fishing Network (channel 183), which is available as part of
the Sports Trophies theme group, is hooked on every aspect of recreational and
sport fishing and all aspects of angling.
The Fan 590 radio (channel 178), which now is part of the Sports Fans
theme group, features live sports action, timely interviews and listener
call-in shows.
CGTV Canada (channel 28), which is included in the basic package, allows
viewers to explore local and international casinos, and to watch and learn
card and casino games such as bridge, backgammon, blackjack and poker.
Three-month free previews are now available for The Fight Network and The
Fan 590 radio, while one-year free previews are now on GOLTV and WFN. CGTV
Canada is available as part of the MTS TV basic package.
