The following is an excerpt from Dave Meltzer's news update today at WrestlingObserver.com:
Murilo Ninja Rua was just passed by a UCLA neurosurgeon to fight Joey Villasenor on Friday night in San Jose in the match that was canceled a few days ago. However, the commission has not cleared him at press time. Choi Hong-man on the Los Angeles show was cleared by a doctor after the first doctor red-flagged him, and the commission wouldn't allow him to fight, so nothing is certain.
It would be awesome if they could get Ninja-Villasenor back on. I was really looking forward to that fight.
