Ortiz, Bonnar Argue Over Drug Testing During Heated “OTR” Appearance In Canada

Bellator 131 headliners Tito Ortiz and Stephan Bonnar appeared on Canadian talk-show “Off The Record” to promote their fight on Spike TV on November 15th, and during their segment, things got interesting real quick.

Bonnar appeared annoyed from the word “go,” almost as if he didn’t want to be there, while Ortiz was quick to dig the knife in deep whenever he was given the opportunity.

The highlight of the segment, which you can watch at TSN.ca, was when the subject of drug-testing came up.

Host Michael Landsberg brought up the fact that Bonnar has failed two drugs tests in the past, while pointing out that Ortiz had never failed a drug test.

“Goody-gum-drops for him,” said Bonnar. “His ex already posted stuff about how he’s faked tests before.”

Ortiz seemed to get worked up by these comments, warning Bonnar that eventually they’ll meet each other inside the cage before throwing a few insults in his direction.

“Go ahead and point the finger,” said Ortiz. “You’re the one who’s been popped twice.”

“The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” closed out that part of the conversation by questioning whether or not a clean Bonnar can compete on his level.

“:et’s see if you can compete without all that juice in you buddy,” said Ortiz.

Tito Ortiz vs. Stephan Bonnar headlines Bellator 131, which airs live and free on Spike TV on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California. Make sure to visit MMANews.com that evening for detailed live results coverage of the event!
