According to Fighters Only magazine, Michael Bisping vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama will take place at the UFC 120 card scheduled for October 16th at the O2 Arena in London, England.
The report claims that bout agreements for the match have already been drawn up and that one side has signed and sent back the agreement, confirming things on their end. The other side is reportedly near completed as well, which would then make the bout official.
Bisping is coming off an impressive decision victory over the highly regarded Dan Miller at UFC 114 back in May of this year. Akiyama of course dropped a very tough and exciting fight to Chris Leben by submission at UFC 116 last Saturday night. With that being said, both fighters are 1-1 in their last two octagon appearances, making this fight a very important one for each guys' UFC future.
Bisping-Akiyama will reportedly serve as the main event at UFC 120, which will be a free televised offering on Spike TV on October 16th.
