Middleweight fighters Patrick Cote (13-6) and Tom Lawlor (6-3) will square off in an undercard match at UFC 121 “Lesnar vs. Velasquez” on October 23, reports MMAJunkie.com.
Also added to the UFC 121 line-up is a welterweight scrap between top contenders Diego Sanchez (21-4) and Paulo Thiago (13-2). Sanchez confirmed the bout with PennyJoMMA.com, while Thiago discussed the fight with Brazilian MMA website/magazine TATAME.
UFC 121 emanates from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California and features a main event of Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez for the UFC heavyweight title. The October 23rd card also features the UFC debut of Jake Shields, in a welterweight fight against top contender Martin Kampmann.
