MARCUS DAVIS VS. BEN SAUNDERS
Round 1 – A touch of gloves gets us started. Saunders misses high with a kick that Davis ducks under. Saunders gets the clinch and lands a knee to the body. Davis pushes him into the cage. Saunders delivers knees to the inside thigh, and Davis retreats for the center of the cage. Saunders clinches and delivers knees to the body from the clinch. Davis pushes him back into the cage. The fighters trade short punches before Saunders reverses position for more knees. Back to the center of the cage, Davis lands a couple punches, but Saunders connects on more knees and pushes Davis into the cage. Davis has a cut on his forehead. The welterweights jockey for position before breaking to restart. After trading kicks, Saunders lands a nice right. Davis lands a few punches, but Saunders again gets the clinch and drops Davis with two of those dangerous knees. He follows with a couple quick punches, but Davis is out cold. Ben Saunders def.
