Joe Stevenson vs. Gleison Tibau
Round 1
The fighters exchange leather in the center of the Octagon. Stevenson lands a right hand that knocks Tibau off balance. Stevenon pulls guard with a guillotine that is defended. Stevenson stands and picks Tibau up with a double-leg before depositing him on the canvas. Tibau transitions into a deep omaplata. Stevenson is caught deep in the hold but he does not seem to be in danger. He relaxes and asks referee Steve Mazzagatti to stand them up to no avail. The round ends with Stevenson still stuck in the omaplata.
Round 2
Stevenson ducks his head and rushes forward for a double. Tibau, with his back to the cage, stuffs it and puts Joe against the fence. Tibau misses with a flurry of punches but gets a takedown. Tibau smoothly moves to side-control and mount shortly after. He loses the position as he steps over. Stevenson gets to his feet and pulls guard with an arm-in guillotine. Tibau taps quickly at 2:57 of the second.
