Holly Holm was recently interviewed by Larry King, and she revealed what she said to Ronda Rousey after their fight at UFC 193.
“I just said, ‘You know I really admire you for being such a great, dominant champion,’” Holm said. “‘None of us would be here without you, so I appreciate you.’”
King asked Holm if she thought Rousey was a bad sport fr not touching gloves before the first.
“No, it’s a high-emotion sport,” Holm said.
“I think she’s done great for the sport because she’s so passionate about what she does and carries this confidence about her,” Holm said. “Everybody has their own ways of dealing with their emotions in the sport.”
Rousey and Holm are currently expected to have a rematch sometime around mid-2016.
