Former UFC fighter Thiago Silva was knocked out in devastating fashion at Saturday’s Gladiator MMA show in Missouri at the Family Arena. Marcus Sursa knocked Silva in the second round of their fight with an elbow to the side of the head, which dropped Silva to the canvas.

Silva is now 0-2 since his UFC departure, with both fights ending by knockout. The UFC cut Silva in September of 2014 due to a string of personal problems and arrests.
