At the post-fight press conference after last night’s UFC 195 event, Carlos Condit spoke out on the possibility of retiring.
Condit lost his UFC welterweight title shot against Robbie Lawler on Saturday, in what Joe Rogan called one of the best title fights ever. Lawler won with a split decision (48-47, 47-48, 48-47) after 5 Rounds to retain his welterweight championship.
“It was close. It didn’t go my way tonight, but I left it all in there, so I’m disappointed but I’m proud of my performance,” Condit explained at the press conference. “I have to evaluate, but that might be a possibility that it’s my last [fight].”
After Saturday’s fight, Condit has a record of 30 wins and 9 losses.
