It looks like it’s going to be a while until we see the number seven ranked UFC Heavyweight contender — Andrei Arlovski — inside the Octagon again.
It was first reported by Ariel Helwani on UFC Tonight that “The Pitbull” underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left shoulder last week.
According to Arlovski’s manager, Leo Khorolinksy, he will need approximately six-to-eight weeks to recover from the operation.
Arlovski (23-10-1) has gone undefeated in his first two fights back with the UFC, surprising fight fans with his last fight in September, as he knocked out Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva in under three minutes.
