UFC has announced a new bout for UFC 178, as Bobby Green and Jorge Masvidal, both fresh off of wins at UFC On FOX 12, will square off in an exciting Lightweight battle.
Masvidal (27-8) is coming off of an impressive outing against Daron Cruickshank this past Saturday night, a fight he won via unanimous decision after three rounds.
Green (23-5) is currently riding an eight-fight winning streak, a streak that stayed in tact after a win over top-ranked Josh Thomson this past Saturday night in San Jose, California.
UFC 178: “Jones vs. Cormier” takes place on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
