Former UFC title contender turned host of the number one ranked podcast of the past week (“You’re Welcome”), Chael Sonnen, recently took to social media to take a friendly jab at his buddy, former WWE Superstar CM Punk.
According to a tweet posted on Sonnen’s official Twitter account, Punk was supposed to send his MMA pal a copy of WWE Superstar Chris Jericho’s new autobiography, “The Best in the World: At What I Have No Idea,” but apparently never did.
Jericho’s autobiography created some headlines in both the MMA and WWE media circles earlier this week when an excerpt from the book surfaced online, telling a story about how WWE owner Vince McMahon nearly fought MMA legend Frank Shamrock in the past.
Fear not, however, as the man with many connections, including those close enough to obtain (and share on live television) the personal cell phone number of WWE executive Stephanie McMahon, was able to get his own advanced copy of the Jericho autobiography.
I guess as the old saying goes: “All’s well that ends well.”
If it hadn’t, by the way, it might not have mattered as Sonnen has made it clear recently that he probably wouldn’t have apologized anyways.
