Christy Mack Opens Up About Savage Beating She Suffered From War Machine

Adult film star Christy Mack recently opened up about her recovery process from the brutal beating she endured at the hands of her former boyfriend, former UFC and Bellator fighter War Machine.

Mack suffered 18 broken bones in the attack, which took place at her Las Vegas home in August of 2014. She had to have veneers placed on her broken teeth, glasses because of damage to her eyes, and she says she still doesn’t fully recognize her new face.

“I didn’t look in the mirror for weeks,” Mack told ESPN. “Just feeling my face, I knew it wasn’t right … So when I’d look in the mirror, it’s not me — that person wasn’t me. It’s so hard to go every day without being you anymore.”

Mack says she is trying her best to move on as War Machine, formerly known as Jon Koppenhaver, awaits trial on 36 different charges — including attempted murder.

Mack says her porn days are over, but she recently took a refresher course in pole-dancing, an art form she enjoys.

Additionally, Mack is making plans to have a new tattoo on her back, which is designed to cover up the previous ink that reads, “Property of War Machine.”
