Cyborg Calls Rousey A Bad Example For Girls, Hypocrite For Comments About Mayweather

The ongoing war of words between Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino and Ronda Rousey doesn’t appear to be ending anytime soon, particularly after Cyborg took aim at Rousey for what she felt was hypocritical comments from Rousey about self-image, a topic Cyborg feels Rousey — as well as Dana White — has no business talking about as long as they continue to use Justino’s physical appearance against her.

After calling Rousey a hypocrite in a new Facebook rant in response to Rousey complaining about people calling her fat, Justino continued to criticize the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion for her behavior in the media in particular.

During her recent appearance on “The Brutally Honest” podcast, Cyborg continued to target “Rowdy” Ronda for many of the things she has said about her, as well as for things Rousey has said about others.

Cyborg pointed out that Rousey, who has admitted in her own book that she once attacked her ex-boyfriend with punches and knees, should review her own behavior before commenting about a topic such as Floyd Mayweather’s past with domestic violence, a subject “Rowdy” Ronda has given much attention, including during her epic speech at The ESPY Awards earlier this year.

Justino continued her rant, switching gears to focus on UFC President Dana White, who she mentioned has publicly “made fun” of her many times in the past.

“The video Dana White did and made fun of me is old, but I just watched it last week,” Cyborg said. “I really think it’s disrespectful and he never tries to promote a fight between me and Ronda, he tries to make fun of me and and opens the doors for other girls to do the same. People make fun of me and laugh.”

Cyborg continued, “Ronda’s always doing interviews and talking bad about somebody. She talks bad about other girls in the UFC, about [Floyd] Mayweather and his domestic violence and I think you have to look at yourself before you diss somebody.”

With Rousey’s popularity continuing to grow by leaps and bounds, particularly outside of the sport and into mainstream awareness, Cyborg made it clear that whether she wants to be or not, Rousey is a role model and someone who is setting an example for millions of little girls around the world.

“Everybody looks at her as an example,” Justino said. “A lot of little girls — I hope she realizes that she’s an example and a lot of people see her when she does something like this. Yeah, she’s doing this [being a bully] to a lot of people. She just says good about her[self], not about other people.”

Before the interview was over, to the surprise of no one, Cyborg commented on the possibility of a potential super fight against Rousey, and noted that she is of the opinion that “Rowdy” Ronda isn’t “Rowdy” enough to step into an Octagon with the Invicta FC Featherweight Champion.

“I don’t think she wants this fight,” a to-the-point Cris Cyborg stated.
