Dana White On Shamrock vs. Gracie 3: “I Don’t Think 50-Year-Olds Fighting Is Ever A Good Idea”

Dana White did a Q&A session in Melbourne during UFC 193 weekend where he was asked about the upcoming fight between Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie for Bellator MMA. As you can see in the video above, it sounds like the UFC President is not a fan of the idea.

“Listen, everybody’s gotta do their own thing, but I don’t think that 50-year-olds fighting is ever a good idea,” White said. “I hope nobody gets hurt. I mean, two 50-year-old guys. That’s crazy. Crazy.”

Gracie, who is 48-years-old, fill fight 51-year-old Shamrock at Bellator 149 on Friday, February 19th at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
