Dana White: Ronda Rousey Is UFC’s Biggest Star, But Conor McGregor Is Nipping At Her Heels

UFC president Dana White recently spoke to Yahoo! Sports about Ronda Rousey and her career so far in the UFC. He praised the former UFC women’s bantamweight champ, but acknowledged that Conor McGregor’s star power may soon overshadow Rousey’s.

“Everything this woman does, she’s incredible,” White told Yahoo! Sports. “She’s an unbelievable athlete, personality, friend, partner … you name it, Ronda Rousey is amazing. I think Ronda Rousey is the biggest star in the UFC, but let me tell you what, Conor McGregor is nipping at her heels.”

Rousey lost her women’s bantamweight championship to Holly Holm by knockout at UFC 193 back in November. They were rumored to have a rematch at UFC 200, but Rousey has requested more time off from competition.
