Top-ranked UFC Lightweight contenders Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and Myles Jury recently took part in a bit of a Twitter war, with Cerrone going as far as to make the claim that Jury turned down a fight with him for December.
The back-and-forth continued to the point that UFC President Dana White got involved.
When a fan asked White if a Cerrone-Jury match is likely to happen, he simply responded by saying, “Yes.”
While the UFC boss didn’t reveal when or where such a bout would happen, he did confirm that “Cowboy wants to fight him.”
Jury’s manager later revealed to FOX Sports that the match is already in the process of being made, saying: “We confirmed upon approach by the UFC, the date is all that has been needing worked out.”
