Donald Cerrone “Fails” UFC On FOX 17 Drug Test

Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone is getting some heat as of late for “failing” his latest UFC drug test, even if the failure is only a technicality.

Cerrone, who primarily lives out of an RV, reportedly traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada on a “whim,” and as a result, when the drug testers showed up to his home, he was nowhere to be found.

The consequences? The test will be recorded as a failed test. In the new testing, three “whereabouts failures” count as a Anti-Doping Rule Violation.

Cerrone spoke about the issue with TUF veteran Tait Fletcher (transcribed via BloodyElbow.com):

“In the new testing, you have to tell them your whereabouts. Fuck, I don’t know where I’m going to be. They show up to my house and are like ‘where are you this weekend?’ It was on the weekend that I went to Vegas on a whim. They were like ‘where are you?’ and I was like ‘I’m in Vegas’. And they were like ‘we’re at your house’. And I was like ‘well that sucks.’ So I failed. I failed my drug test.”
